SATURDAY SERVE

Keystone United Methodist Church will have it’s next Saturday Serve Day on

Saturday, November 15.

Our church has committed to a quarterly Adopt a Road clean up event here in Keystone. Our section is Race Track Road from Gunn Highway to Patterson Road (2 miles).

 

​Who: Adults, plus children 12 and older, if accompanied by an adult.

 

When: Saturday, November 15th from 9-11am.

 

Where: We will meet up in front of Fellowship Hall at 8:30am, have a pastry and coffee and a prayer to get us moving, fueled, and motivated to serve. We will have coolers of water in the drop off cars. We will be dropped off in teams along Race Track Road to pick up sections along the road side.

 

What to wear (suggested): Long pants, socks, closed toe shoes, hat, sunscreen, bug spray. If you have garden gloves - bring those, otherwise gloves will be supplied. We will have brightly colored safety vests, gloves, trash bags and road signs to warn drivers of our presence.

 

If anyone has a student who is earning community service hours, this event qualifies.
